Executive Coaching 

 

Individual attention is targeted, specific and extremely helpful to busy executives who have important responsibilities...and can't wait for results!

Executive coaching used to be reserved for only those Chief Executives in the "Ivory Tower"...wherever that was...however, now individual coaching is being used in all industries virtually at all managerial levels throughout the organization. It filtered down the leadership ladder initially as a result of the mentoring system that was extremely useful when the right people were involved...and damaging when the wrong people mentored others. Sometimes mentors were selected for one skill or one set of skills, but also mentored others on non-productive elements of their behavior. Often, mentors were not available or couldn't devote the time to accomplish any real progress. Unfortunately, also the mentoring system sometimes favored some while ignoring others.

The systems inherent flaws led to the realization that Executive Coaches could be chosen for their abilities and held to a standard of performance. Results could be measured and true performance improvement could be realized at all levels of the leadership chain.

Decision Point mentoring uses a targeted analysis approach. First, we gain a complete understanding of the person, using a scientific analyis of behaviors and skills. Then we work on listening to the Leader's Strengths, Opportunities, Aspirations and Results (SOAR). 

Targeted "at the elbow" training is provided to help the leader understand methods to improve their skills and get the expected results!
